Jeremy and I have so many things to be thankful for. We comment daily on at least one thing we're so glad we have. Family, friends, a roof over our heads, food on the table and today we both commented that we were so glad we had jobs, as we went to Costco.
We started out Thanksgiving on the Wednesday before.. at my parents house. Every year mom and dad are in charge of making fried bread. Of course they recruit my sisters and I to help roll the bread, and this year it so happened that we could all make it. So, we headed to their house after work.

| Quentin's first time as well. He devoured it. |
Thursday we headed to Uncle Frank and Aunt Sue's house. It's always fun to see everyone, see how much the little kids have grown and watch them play.

| Mmmmm.... Pasta!! |

Of course I had to go shopping at midnight. I was in bed by 2:30a.m. so, it wasn't too bad. And I got everything I was after. I think I could have went at 7a.m. and still got everything I wanted, but it's too entertaining to not go at midnight. The best deal we got was Friday morning. I tried ordering a glider/rocker from Babies R Us online, but shipping alone was going to be $90. So, Jeremy and I headed to the store, where they had one left and were holding it for us. It rang up $40 cheaper than the online price. So we got a $500 glider for $200. It's super nice and Q loves it, as does Grandma Nancy. :)
We also put up the christmas tree on Friday while Q took his morning nap. He was in awe when he got up. Of course I had camera in hand for his reaction.

| The tree is pretty bare for a reason. |
We extended the Thanksgiving holiday on Saturday with the Mohler side (my moms side). I did not win at May I this year, but I beat Aunt LaRee, so I was happy about that. We also had a Apple Crisp contest. Dianna, my cousin Kristy and I all brought apple crisp, and everyone else were taste testers. Dianna's recipe won.. I don't know how.. but it did. So, Congrats to her!

As we were getting things ready to head to Grandma's, Q kept getting his pajama pants out, so Jeremy put them on his head, so at least we wouldn't forget them. (his face in this picture cracks me up) |
 |
| Q has really started getting into forms of transportation lately. |
 |
| Q loved Grandma GG's dog, Bubba. |
Thanksgiving 2011 = Success.
You had a very exciting long weekend! I lOve the Christmas tree picture with Q's reaction! Sarah & Jeremy
