Happy Halloween.. and other fun things.

The last week has been pretty busy. I returned back to work on Thursday and Cameron has a whole week of daycare under his belt. He handled it very well, and they all think he's just the sweetest thing, just like his brother. 

Other fun stuff that happened - Bobbie and Dylan came to visit. Quentin and Dylan have a ton of fun when they get together. Quentin loves copying Dylan and watching him. I don't recall him copying anyone else, more than he does Dylan. Thankfully Dylan doesn't get too crazy and teach Quentin all kinds of things he shouldn't be doing.. yet, anyway. The weather was perfect, so we headed to the park.

did it several times without any help.

It's been a year since we moved into this house. It's gone by so fast! Jeremy and I are still amazed and thankful that this whole house swap worked out. Even better that it's in a great neighborhood with tons of kids and fun parents. We feel very blessed and lucky. 

We are finally getting around to doing some decorating.. Jeremy is more the decorator than I am. He's bugging me to get some pictures on the walls,  So, we'll see if I get that done by the end of the year. 

Jeremy did a great job hanging this decal. 

Saturday afternoon, we headed to my parents for the first McFee/Mohler reunion. We had fun playing cards inside and sports outside. 

Halloween Fun: We carved pumpkins on Sunday. Jeremy actually did the carving. I got the joy of cleaning them out. Quentin decorated his pumpkin with markers. 

Tonight was beggars night. Quentin made it to about 7 houses, then wanted me to carry him. So home we went.  I wasn't going to complain. After all, I think the fun part is hearing the jokes and seeing all the costumes.  Quentin was a turkey again, since he could still fit into the costume. Cameron is a giraffe, but should have been an owl since he whos all the time. 

Grandma Nancy came to enjoy the fun as well.

Happy 2 Months Cameron!!

So I realize I'm a little late getting to this, but better late than never. Cameron turned 2 months on 15th. Time is going by SO fast. He actually started daycare today and I return to work on Thursday.

I forget how fun this age is. I'm sure it won't be the last time I say that either.

At 2 months Cameron:

Weighs 12 pounds, 12 ounces (61%). He's a little chunker, although, clearly not the largest baby at this age. We are adjusting to all the creases and crevices in his legs and neck.

His height is good at 23.25 inches (62%)

Head is 15.25(37%). I was expecting this to be more, as it seems his head is huge and weighs a ton.

Talks a ton; coos and makes owl noises constantly. I wish I knew what he was thinking, and trying to say.

Kicks and is very squirmy. I don't remember Quentin moving as much as Cameron does.

I think his favorite thing to do, besides eating, is getting his diaper changed. He's like Quentin and doesn't like to have a wet diaper.

Not so much a fan of tummy time. We do it in small doses and he does okay with that. Anything longer than 5 minutes though, he thinks is too long.

Despite not liking tummy time, he has really good head and neck strength. For awhile, we thought he'd have a bobble head for a long time. :)

Doesn't seem to mind bath, although, doesn't seem to think it's great either.

More Pumpkin Patch Fun!!

We headed to Winterset for more pumpkin patch fun on Sunday. We met up with my mom, Annette and the boys. The boys had a ton of fun. Huge thanks to my mom for hanging out with Cameron in the car (it was a little too cold and windy for him).

Julian loved the zip line. I wish it was
big enough for adults to do.

Fun Foto Friday - SHHH!!!

Sleeping through the night?? Cameron has been sleeping great the last 3 nights. Going to bed around 7:30-8 and waking at 5:30. This morning, is a little different as HE'S STILL SLEEPING and it's almost 7:30. He even survived Quentin this morning, who does not have a quiet voice.

Today, I'm hoping to get another post up with other fun things that have been happening. No promises though.

Fun Foto Friday - Pumpkin Patch Style!

We headed to a pumpkin patch by my house yesterday afternoon with Carrie and Stella.

This game reminded me of The Bozo Show.
Q has quite the arm. 

And, I can't leave Cameron out.
