Oh The Fun We Have!

It's been awhile, I know, but I like to be in bed by 9 these days. The morning comes far too early. And, we lost an hour a week or so ago, so playing catch up from that. It's amazing how much an hour can effect someone. 

I'm going to start with some pics from February.... That seems so long ago. 

Q and Grandma Nancy built a snowman. It was so cute, and he gave it spiked hair.. just like he likes to have. 

Jeremy gave both boys haircuts - He's getting better and better each time and so is Cameron. Haircuts don't even phase Quentin anymore.

The first weekend in March, we headed to Home Depot to look around and get some paint swatches. Turns out, they also have a activity for kids as well, so Quentin put together a craft. I was a little bummed, they were out of aprons. But, now that we know when it is, we'll be back.

He loved it, and wants to do it again, even though Jeremy ended up putting most of it together. We didn't have time to paint it that day, so we painted it at home. 

That afternoon, we headed to Wyatt and Jackson's 2nd birthday party. The kids had a ton of fun, chasing balloons, eating cupcakes, and helping open presents. 

The gift of hard hats was a hit! 

We made the mistake of letting Q bring home a balloon.. Turns out Cam played with it more. I hate them playing with balloons, but, I watched carefully, and the balloon mysteriously popped during nap the next day.

Last weekend, the boys and I headed to Jordan Creek play area for a playdate with Wynn, Tate and Brecken. The place gets a little crazy, so it never lasts long. But, the boys had fun, and I got to catch up with Wynn.

While we were at our playdate, Jeremy had the task of getting paint and starting the makeover on the nursery. The pic below is a before pic and how it's been since we moved in to this house, and I think it was even that way when the guy before us moved in. I actually liked the idea of the stripes.. just not so much those colors. I was reminded of the Cyclones every time I walked into the room. So, those colors had to go.

We added a navy stripe.. 

And After..  The main color is a light blue, it's hard to tell in the pic. 

We still have a lot to do. We're going to add an orange stripe on top of the dark blue this weekend, and I have some pictures I'm going to make to hang. So, stay tuned for the final outcome. 

This past weekend, the only thing we had planned was a playdate. Cameron apparently had other plans. He woke us up at 4a.m. Sunday morning and when I went into his room, I noticed he had puked at some point in the night. So, after getting that cleaned up and washing machine going, I brought him to our bed to sleep.. which he also puked in. So, then it was off to the couch, where he layed on me the rest of the morning, puking 3 or 4 more times. He must think I have a ton of shirts I can wear with this big belly. :) He didn't eat much Sunday, and was back to his normal self today. 

It's now 10:30, and I started this post at 9pm. Quentin woke up at 9:30, crying, and when I went to see what was wrong, he too, had puked. So, we finally got that all cleaned up, and he and Jeremy are now sleeping on the couch, with the puke bucket. I have a feeling tonight is going to be a long night.

Snow is finally melting here and we can't wait to play outside more. 

Finally, before I go.. baby update - He's doing great and is right on schedule. Doctor appointments are every 2 weeks now, and time is going so fast. I've reached 3rd trimester and baby weighs 2.5 pounds and is the size of a butternut squash. May 29th will be here before we know it.
