Weekend Fun!!

We hung around home Saturday. Played outside most of the day and watched the Iowa game.

Afton and Q.

Cameron is ready for the game.

Peanut Butter toast is the best and Quentin will often ask
for it before bed.

Cameron officially turned 1 month old on Sat.

Cameron has smiled a few times, and I was finally able to get
this picture of it.

Quentin is getting better and better at using the pedals.

When Hayden and Quentin get together, it's scary. They
are similar in age, and the conversations they have are
hilarious, although a lot of times I have no idea what they're
saying. They play together very well, and negotiate who
gets to ride which toy.

Quentin and I headed to the zoo on Sunday. We met up with Lena and Saran. I decided that 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon, is the best time to go. There was hardly anyone there.

I told Quentin to pick out some clothes
to wear to the zoo and when I went to
check on him, he'd found a hat (that is
clearly too small) and socks.

Quentin loved the fish.. Lena loved to show her belly.

A snack at the zoo

Quentin voluntarily gave Lena a goodbye kiss. I'm not
really sure what to think of it. But, it was cute.

Fun Foto Friday!! - Cameron turns 4 weeks!

Cameron turned 4 weeks old on Wednesday. It's still amazing to me how much an infant changes in such a short amount of time. It's also crazy how he can look like me one day, and Jeremy the next. Of course, some days he looks like neither of us.  And, just today, he smiled at me. I did get a pic, but I haven't had a chance to upload it yet.

Cameron - 4 weeks old

Quentin loves his baby brother for now. I have a feeling
it will change once Cameron wants to play with toys.
  and one more picture..

Catch Up!! - A lot to Celebrate!!

There is a lot to celebrate these last and next few days. First off, On Sept 2nd, my parents celebrated 35 years of marriage (was that during the 8-track days?). They're always been there for all of us kids and we couldn't be more proud of them. Here's to another 35 years!

Happy Anniversary!
On the 10th - Dianna and Eric celebrate their first year of marriage.

August 26th, Julian turned the big 7 years old. Every time I see him, he gets bigger and bigger. It seriously won't be long before he's taller than me. I think he may already be taller than Dianna.

August 28th was mom's birthday - I won't say how old she is, partly, because I don't want to do the math. :) Thank you mom for everything you do for us.

Quentin turned 25 months on the 2nd. He amazes us everyday with new words and actions. Last night, he decided he was going to "scoop" his lego's to put them away and went and got a spatula. He went to  Cameron's 2 week Dr. appt with us, and Dr. Shutte commented on how vocal and well he speaks.

And today, Cameron is 3 weeks old. We are all adjusting well, including Frodo, who I was most concerned with.  At 3 weeks, Cameron goes to bed around 9, wakes at 2 to eat, and again at 6. Then naps again, until 9. So far, we've been fortunate to have a good baby.

Now, onto more pictures..

Huge thanks to my co-worker Shirley
for sending a cookie bouquet. It was
very thoughtful!

Q trying to put on Cameron's clothes - Thanks to Aunt
Anna, Christina and Serra for the clothes and coloring book
for Q.

I can't get over how old Q looks in this picture.

Finger painting fun - Monday morning, Stella and Lena (along with parents) came over to finger paint. I think Q liked it better than last time.

Tre was finally able to come over!

Q likes to get into Cameron's things these days.

Grandpa showing Q how to golf.

Again - Thanks to all who have visited, brought gifts and food. We truly appreciate it!
