Weekend Fun!

Saturday morning, we met up with Serra, Jimmy and Nolan for Every Family Rocks at the Science Center. The kids had a ton of fun and got to play with all kinds of neat stuff.

Food goes on the belt, then Nolan was turning the wheel
to make the belt move.

Fishing!

Balloon Racing!

Bubble Blowing!

Ball Throwing

Ball Watching

Snake hissing.. He was a very active snake.

Green screen - Channel 13 noon news actually does films
live from the Science Center everyday.

Sue the T. Rex.

balloon animals.. Quentin's started off as a giraffe..

Not amused!

But ended up as a sword. Nolan's was originally a weenier dog
but also ended up as a sword.

On Sunday, it was perfect outside, so Q and I headed out to build a snowman.

eating snow. He asked before he ate it, and I inspected it.

A walk was also in order

Quentin wanted me to take his picture

Lets Go Bowling!
Where's Cameron?? We tend to have my mom or dad or Jeremy's mom watch Cameron when go places like the Science Center - It's just easier and nice to have a little more one on one time with Quentin. And, turns out, the grand parents love it. Who'da thought? I imagine as Cameron is getting easier and easier to care for, he'll be joining us.

Happy 6 Months, Cameron!!

Cameron turned 6 months on the 15th. We had his doctor appointment on the 20th and he did great. He did have to get 2 shots, one in each leg and did get a bit of a fever that night. But other than that and a little cold, he hasn't been sick. Knock on wood! As expected, he's doing great. He does still have a little drainage around his eye and could potentially have a blocked tear duct, or something else going. Since it doesn't seem to bother him and showing some improvement, we're going to watch it until his 9 month appointment, and then may get referred to an eye doctor if it's not better by then. It's not bothering his vision or anything, and is mostly more annoying to us that have to look at it, than it is to him.

It's already hard to remember him this small.

At 6 months:

- Weights 18# 12 ounces (71%) and is 27 inches long (61%).

- Is getting more and more active, rolling front to back and back to front. He also loves jumping in the jumper.

- grabs EVERYTHING and puts it in his mouth.

- Ticklish on his back, thighs and sides.

- Can sit up for a couple minutes before falling to the side.

- Talks all the time, especially when he's getting his diaper changed

- Loves watching Quentin and Frodo.

- Has a little bit of stranger anxiety, but it doesn't take long for him to warm up.

- Loves bath time and splashing.

- Sleeps from 7ish to 6a.m.

- Takes a binky sometimes, usually when he's tired, but will often fall asleep without it.

- Will be getting his first haircut very soon, as it's down to the tip of his nose when it's wet.

Now for some pictures:

Quentin leaned in to give Cam a kiss - so sweet!

Cam man gets new shades too

Happy Valentines Day.

Happy Valentines Day..a wee bit late. V-day wasn't anything more than just a normal Thursdays for us. Of course we did make valentines for Quentin to take to daycare. I didn't make anything for Cameron's room.

These were Q's Valentines. It says, I
"wheelie" like you! and there is a little
car in there.
We did make a heart shaped double layer cake and Jeremy did a great job decorating and frosting it.

Grandma Nancy stopped by with some gifts for Q and Cameron, and some chocolates for Jeremy and I. It was very sweet of her to think of us.

On Sunday Grandma GG stopped by with a couple things for the boys. It's always good to see her and I'm so glad we live close that she can stop by whenever she wants.

Quentin and I had the puzzle put
together before GG even left.

Other fun pictures from the last couple weeks: We have Cameron's 6 month appointment tomorrow afternoon, so will post again after that with more pictures of him.

Movie time. Q finally sits long enough to watch some of a
movie.
We got new sunglasses for both the boys
and Q couldn't wait to wear his.
At last - some video's.  Quentin is getting good at his ABC's.

Finally - Quentin's Christmas program that I promised I post forever ago.

Who Doesn't Love PICTURES?!?!

This posting every 2 weeks is starting to become a habit.

Cameron is getting so big, and more mobile. We can't believe he'll be 6 months old on Friday. We have his check up on Wednesday and I'm pretty excited to see how much he weighs. I actually think he's slimming down a little. He continues to smile non stop and entertain us daily.

Quentin often likes to help Cameron wake up by throwing a couple stuffed animals, and then climbing in the crib with him. Cameron doesn't seem to mind.

Quentin just keeps getting better and better with his sentences and talking. I'm amazed daily at some of the things he says, and the way he says them.

We headed to Julians basketball game last weekend. He did good, and got defensive player of the game.

I was so impressed with Quentin as he watched the entire
game with KaVo.

After the game, we headed to the Tavern for some pizza.

Quentin did really mind the lemon.
We continue to have fun around the house. I can't wait for a little warmer weather to get here so we can spend more time outside.

Such a big help!

Q let Cameron feel his face and hair. It was so cute!

Quentin has started potty training.
We decided to let him do it at his pace,

Huge thanks to whoever dropped this
off! Q loved it!

This past weekend, Jeremy and I headed to the Home and Garden show and then to a Bacon party! Yes, a bacon party. A couple Y crew members decided to have their own little bacon party instead of trying to get real Baconfest tickets, which sold out in 3 minutes.  I've never been to the real baconfest, but I'm pretty sure the bacon party was much better. Thanks to Grandma Nancy for watching the boys!

People brought insane food with bacon, including chocolate
covered bacon.
The Y crew that was there. It was fun to see and catch up
with everyone.
