Happy Weekend - Catch up time!

We LOVE weekends around here and always have something going on.

Saturday morning, we headed to the Y to decorate piggy banks and shoot some hoops. Stella, Dylan, Wyatt and Jackson joined us.

One of Quentin's favorite things to do, is shoot basketball hoops. He practices almost daily at home. I think we'll be back very soon to practice more.

Jackson is on the left, Wyatt in the middle.
It was still early enough, so we headed to the zoo. The giraffes, my favorite were not out, but plenty of other animals were. And most of them were very active.
Quentin and Dylan loved the train ride.

Stella liked pushing Cameron.

This sea lion was so cute, if you rubbed the glass, he moved
like you were actually petting him, and he loved it.

Saturday night, Jeremy and I headed downtown for the Glow Run. It was a lot of fun and we're already looking forward to next years race. We were especially excited Bobbie and Mark were able to join us.

Huge thanks to my parents to watching the kiddo's into the wee hours of the morning, and bringing me stuff I'd forgotten.

Happy Earth Day!  I found matching shirts for the boys at Old Navy. They say, Love your Mother!

Cameron continues to just smile non-stop.

Quentin was being a stinker and didn't want his picture taken
Turns out, I take a lot of pictures. I upload at least 100 pictures every weekend. Now, if I just knew a good way to organize them.

I love Cameron's chunky thighs.

Window crayons work really well. I haven't tried washing the
window yet though. The window markers work well too, and
are really easy to clean off.

Last but not least, Frodo! It's been awhile since I've posted a picture of him.

KC Fun!!

This past weekend we headed to Kansas City. The kiddo's did great for the first 2.5 hours. Then Quentin started crying, which made Cameron cry - all because he was tired of being in his car seat. But, we survived. On the way home, we stopped in Bethany and let the kids out to stretch a little more and get a little bit of a rest from car seats. Looking for cows was also a good distraction.

We arrived in KC just in time for lunch at the Fritz - where your food is delivered by train. Both Quentin and Cameron LOVED it.

The train goes by with your basket and
drops it onto the tray, which lowers to the
table.
After lunch, we headed to the park where Dylan and Quentin ran and played non stop.

Cameron loved the swing

Dylan's birthday party was Sunday morning. We started off with donuts!
Quentin has requested donuts for breakfast a couple times
since.

On to throwing ice.
And finally, we made it to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead!

Quentin mined some rocks.

Petting a baby cow

Cameron had fun too.

Saying goodbyes.

Until next time..

Huge thanks to Bobbie and Dylan for having us. I know we're not an easy family to accommodate since we have kids that don't sleep past 6a.m. But, we still had a lot of fun and can't wait for the next time.

Huge thanks also, to my parents for taking in Frodo and for dinner when we got back.
