Happy 15 Months, Cameron. and Other Happenings...

Cameron turned 15 months on Friday. It's gone by SO fast. Jeremy took him to his appointment today, while I took Quentin to his dentist appointment, which we'll get to a little later.

Cameron did great, and Jeremy said he only cried for 7 seconds after getting shots. He weighed in at 22.15 pounds (53%), 31" tall (42%) and his head circumference is 18" (20%). So, he's pretty average. He says about 4-5 words pretty clearly, but talks non stop and carries on all kids of baby jargon convo's.

He's running circles around me, getting into every drawer, cupboard, and thing he can. Surprisingly, he's only pinched a finger a couple times. He loves the stairs (has only fell down a few stairs a couple times), and has finally got the hang of going down on his tummy. He can go up and down all by himself, and loves playing in the basement.

Despite only having one tooth, Cameron is a great eater, and eats pretty much everything we've ever given him. Mashed potatoes are about the only thing I can think of that he didn't like. Beef ravioli's are his favorite currently. And, if he's hungry, he'll go to his chair, and try to climb it. :)  There is another tooth on the horizon, so maybe by Thanksgiving, he'll have 2 teeth. :)

I have no idea where Cam got the tackling thing, but, he
loves tackling. Daycare has even said something about
it to us. oops!

One of his favorite places!

Cameron sharing his milk - so sweet! :)

He copies everything Quentin does. It's pretty cute!
Not a lot has been going on. It's been kind of nice. This past weekend, Jeremy and I headed to Ikea and the Mall of America. It was a fun little get away. A huge thanks to Grandma Nancy for watching the kiddo's. They had a great time with her.

Jeremy did good and only spent $20 at the Lego store, and
it's a gift for Q none the less.

Other pictures from the last couple weeks -

We headed to my parents a couple weeks ago for Peyton's birthday dinner. We had pasta, and got to meet her boyfriend. :) It was a good time.

Mom painted a door with chalkboard
paint, and Q loves drawing on it.

Mom wanted a couple pictures.. and since all the grandkids were together - why not?

This afternoon, Quentin has his 2nd dentist appointment. He did great, and got 3 stickers and a little token to get a treasure. Dr. Jen said his teeth are great, spacing is great, and if his permanent teeth come in as good as his baby teeth, he shouldn't need braces. :)

They put pink stuff on this teeth, and then
rinse it off. If there is any pink left,
then thats how they tell if you need to brush
better.

And, last but not least, baby #3 update - I've passed the 12 week mark and am feeling pretty good. I went to the doctor Friday afternoon, and the heartbeat was 156.

Happy Halloween Part 2!

When we first started talking about costumes a few weeks ago, all Quentin would say is that he wanted a spiderman watch. He didn't want a costume. We took him to stores to see if there was anything he thought would be "cool" or something he would be excited about.. but, nothing.

Finally, Jeremy told him, that if he wanted to get candy from other people's houses, he had to wear a costume. He was so excited after that. and wanted to be Sully (with a little influence) from then on.

We thought we'd try the costume out early, and see how it went at Bass Pro Shop.. So we headed there last Friday night. Quentin loved wearing his costume, and getting candy throughout the store. Cameron didn't mind his costume either, which was a huge plus. Even better, they were both pretty warm.

The following day, we tried the costume again at Night Eyes. We met up with Carrie and Stella, who was dressed up as Boo. The 3 kids were so cute! We also met up with Little Red Riding Hood - Lena and Saran.

The girl behind Quentin in this picture, was such a bully.
She kept lapping Q, and riding his tail. Q just gave her
dirty looks.
This past Tuesday, Carrie and I thought it would be a good idea to get the kids dressed up again for trick or treating at Valley West Mall.. It was a zoo there, and I don't think we'll do it again. Stella was a little intimidated by all the people, and I can't say I blame her one bit.

Then.. came beggars night. Quentin was SOO excited to walk around the neighborhood with all the kids. He made it all the way to the beginning of our development, through all the side streets, and only missed a couple houses on our street, he said he was done and ready to go home. Cameron also made it, mostly in a stroller.. but did get out for the last couple streets, and actually walked up to houses and got candy. He was so cute! He had a death grip on that candy.

Q loved his tail. :)

Grandma Nancy hung out at our house and handed out candy.

Other fun pictures from the last couple weeks..

Cameron LOVES turning on our bath.

Our little hat modeler.

He's getting so big!
Daddy gave both boys haircuts. Cameron's didn't go as easy as Q's. I had to hold him down, but we got it done.

Pumpkin Carving/painting - Jeremy and I cleaned and carved 5 pumpkins in less than an hour. Quentin painted one, but he ended up mixing all the colors and flinging paint everywhere so he was done.

And, last but not least, our monthly family picture -  We had a lot of fun with this. There is a message in the picture. We'll see how many of you get it, if you don't already know (I know how well my mom can't keep a secret) :)
