Merry Christmas!!!

Like most years, we had a busy Christmas.  We started off the weekend before Christmas with haircuts!!! Cameron did much better this time, and only cried for the first few minutes.

They both immediately got baths, and then ready to head to Grandma and Grandpa's for the Mohler Family Christmas.

Cards with GG

all of GG's great grandkids that were there. Except Olive -
she didn't want to be in the picture. :)

Next up: Christmas Eve with Grandma Nancy! She may have bought an excessive amount of presents. Cameron was a little overwhelmed, but had fun playing with the paper and the presents that Quentin had already opened.
One of Q's favorite gifts - binoculars.

remote control Thomas!

We started the tradition of opening pajamas on Christmas Eve.. so the boys opened those and a pair of slippers. I also had ordered a Christmas book, but didn't think it had came, until I cleaned out my closet. So, I guess I have a book for next year already.

Before bed, we put out some chocolate chip cookie bars and milk for Santa. Cameron was already in bed, the poor guy goes to bed between 6:30-7 every night. I try to not be too far behind him.

Quentin had a rough time going to sleep that night. I'm pretty sure he was just a little too excited for Santa. Jeremy and I quickly went to work after he finally did fall asleep, and were in bed by midnight.. well past my bedtime.

Q was so excited Christmas morning when he realized Santa had been there. He tells everyone how Santa ate ALL this cookies and drank all his milk.

He slept with the binoculars and brought them out with him.

he LOVES his camera!

We went from 0 to 4 dump trucks in less than 12 hours. And
he and Cameron love each and everyone one of them.

We finally got the kitchen out of the
garage. We'd had this thing for 2 years
now, just waiting for a good time. I get
several hot chocolate chip cookies
served to me daily. :)

After playing, eating breakfast, and taking a little nap, it was off to grandma and grandpa's house for prime rib.. and more presents.

oh look, another dump truck. :)
Dianna wins the award for getting the nosiest, and most played with toy. Both boys LOVE the vacuum, and it's fought over nightly. We have declared it a basement only toy, and it's not allowed upstairs. I'm pretty sure my parents were glad to have that thing gone.

On Thursday, Dylan and Bobbie came to visit and stay the night. It was SO fun watching the kids interact. Sarah also brought over Wyatt and Jackson. I think I could just watch those 2 all day, and laugh. They rarely sit still, and are just so entertaining.

Frodo has never had quite the audience while eating, but,
didn't mind one bit. The dog deserves an award for his
patience.

We set up the other half of the bunk bed we have in Q's room, for D to sleep, and turns out, we'll need this arrangement in just a few short months anyway. Q loves having the 2nd bed. I was unsure how the boys would sleep, but they both fell asleep after about 10 minutes of talking. It helps that they were exhausted.

Other random pictures from the last couple weeks.

Leave the kid alone for 2 minutes, and this is what happens.

We finally turned on the WII for the first time since
moving here over 2 years ago. Q played Mario Kart.

Annette got me this awesome popcorn machine for Christmas. It's great and we finally able to try it out last night, while we watched Monsters University on the big screen.

I don't know where Cameron gets this wrestling stuff.. But, he threw himself on Q.. and then tried to throw himself on Frodo.

#3 update - I'm 18 weeks, and baby weighs 7 ounces and is 5.5 inches long  - the size of a bell pepper apparently. We're doing great, and moving right along. We'll have the anatomy scan on January 10th, and are very anxious to find out if this is a girl or boy, and of course, that there are no problems. This pregnancy is going just as the other 2 did. The heartburn is ridiculous and as long as I eat small meals, the nausea isn't really a problem. The only difference so far, was my craving for beef. I think I could have ate a hamburger every night.

We had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the new year. Merry Christmas to all of you, and we hope you have the merriest of New Years!

And lastly - Go Hawks!!

Where Has The Time Gone??

I had to look back, and realized it's been nearly a month since the last time I posted a real post. Pathetic I know.. but, hey, I like my sleep these days and try to get to sleep by 9 (yes, I'm aware I'm getting old).

So, lets get started..

A week before Thanksgiving, we had a meatball making party at my mom and dads. Us girls roll, and dad fries. We rolled roughly 625 meatballs. It's so nice to have them sitting in my freezer, ready to eat for whatever, whenever.

We'd gone to Julian's basketball game prior to making meatballs, and he did great! It's so fun to watch these little kids run around. Quentin liked watching the game as well, and said he wants to play. I think maybe next year, he'll be old enough.

Happy Thanksgiving - We headed to my cousin Frankie's house for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Of course, we don't have a traditional sit down dinner with beet or anything. Ours consists of arriving at 1, eating buffet style.. ALL DAY LONG!!! Playing cards, looking at the black Friday ad's, and catching up with everyone. It's sad, how most of us live within 30 minutes, at most, of anyone, and yet, we rarely see each other. It's also fun to watch all the kids interact. And, would you believe it, I took ZERO pictures while we were there.

Of course, I had scouted out the ads, and had my plan for black Friday shopping. And, that was to do it all online. Most stores and websites opened at 8pm that night. So, after the kids went to bed, I went shopping in my jammies. I got some great deals, without waiting in lines, and it was even delivered to my house free.

Friday morning, the kids were up early, as always. It's also the day we put up the christmas tree. So, thats what we did. Next year, we're planning bring back the popcorn garland. Lets hope Frodo doesn't attack the tree in attempt to eat it.

If you notice in the pictures, Cameron's cheeks are a little rosy. He came down with a rash a week after his 15 month appointment. It was all over his face, legs and arms. Thankfully, it didn't seem to both him much, just looked very irritating to us. I did take him to the doctor for it. I had called them, and asked if it could be another reaction to the shots, like he had at his 1 year appointment. But, thats not the case, and it kept getting worse. Thankfully I did take him. Although they couldn't do anything about the rash, he did end up having an ear infection to go along with it. The rash has since gone away for the most part. It was pretty bad, and he may actually have some scarring on his legs from it.. poor guy. I imagine with age and growth, it will pretty much dissolve though.

So, on to some fun pictures from November..

Who says kids aren't creative - Quentin made up a game
Knock the pins over, but hope they don't go down the stairs.

Quentin LOVES feeding Cameron so much, we had to
separate them.

Daddy busted out his lego's from when he was a kid.
Quentin loved it.

SO BIG!!

Quentin showed Cameron the ropes of feeing Frodo.

The last weekend in November was finally warm enough to get outside, and get some fresh air. There was a little snow left on the ground from the first snow fall of the season, and Quentin loved throwing snowballs. Jeremy finally had no excuse to not get the christmas lights up.

It was even nice enough to ride bikes.

On to December...

Cameron has mastered going up and down the stairs.

They love giving Frodo hugs.. not sure how much Frodo
likes it though.

We got "Elfed" and Q LOVED it. I also loved it, as there
was hot chocolate in our bag, and it sounded so good, but
I didn't have any.
Thankfully both boys love bath's,.. and splashing.
This past weekend, we had a little playdate christmas party for some of our friends, and their kids. We exchanged names for gifts, and had a little pot luck. It was a ton of fun, and all the kids did great. I think there were only a couple screams over toys. :)

This picture makes me laugh, as Cameron is screaming, both
Wyatt and Jackson are looking at him like he's crazy.

Q was excited to get some duplo blocks
and animals.

Stella loved the bug catching puzzle she got. :)

Betty.. well, Betty liked the farm toy that was on the fridge. :)

Last but not least - Happy Birthday Jeremy! He turned the big 3-5 on Tuesday.

We were suppose to have Quentin and Cameron's Christmas program for daycare tonight, but it was canceled due to weather. Quentin has been practicing his songs every night. I'll try to get them on video and share, because they are pretty cute.

We have a fun filled weekend planned with Breakfast with Santa, A Christmas party, and the Mohler family christmas, so stay tuned to see pics from that. Hopefully it won't be another month.
