I'm trying to get all caught up this weekend. I'm also trying to get all my pictures uploaded to Shutterfly too, which is taking a big longer. It doesn't help that I'm in July 2016.. so I have a ways to go there.
We started off April with a trip to Kansas City for Dylan's birthday. We took the truck and it was great to actually be able to reach the kids to hand them something.
First stop was The Fritz - The food is okay, but the cool part is that you order over the phone. someone brings your drinks and your food is delivered by train in a basket.
We headed back to Bobbie's house for some outside play time.
The following day we headed to Dylan's birthday party - I can't remember what the place was called, but it was cool. It had everything - bowling, arcade, and like a obstacle course thing that required a harness. Quentin started the obstacle course thing, but after so far, he was scared so they had to go up and get him down.
They also had this thing in the middle that you stepped on and it changed colors and played music. Ben loved it. And then I learned our dentist office also has one.
Quentin and Cam went to a birthday party for Cash Brookhart (one of Quentin's friends in school). It was very nice of them to include Cameron as well. They also have 3 boys all of similar age.
Ben finally gets a haircut - It was very much needed. And he didn't even cry this time.
Jeremy went to Donuts with Dad at pre-school for Cam. The teachers were very excited for Jeremy to read his paper that Cam had made him.
Quentin started baseball - he's pretty excited for it too.
Happy Easter - we colored eggs one raining day. I use cool-aid as my dye and the kids thought they smelled really good.
Sunday Morning -Easter Bunny Fail - I had forgotten to put their Easter basket out the night before. so I hurried and got it together while they were getting dressed.
| We do 1 big basket for all instead of 3 individual baskets. |
We had an Easter egg hunt at work - It was a lot of fun. Our art park is perfect for hiding eggs. They were still be found a week later.
We headed to mom and dads for Easter Sunday. Mom had a balloon for each of the kids to pop and there was money in them. It was funny to watch the kids flinch when the balloons popped.
We went to Lake Red Rock and camped with Dianna and Eric.
Campfire donuts - This was so simple and could be made at home too. They were just cresent rolls that we made into donut shape. They fried them and then put them in a sack with different things - sugar and cinnamon, powdered sugar, etc.
We ended the month with Quentin's 1st grade concert. These happen so fast, and they do it in 2 groups because there are so many students and parents. We were the first group, which means, we're pretty rushed out of the church after it's done. Quentin did really well, although he kept doing his movements in front of another girl and eventually she moved.
Other pictures from the month..

| This is the artwork that used to be in my office.. I requested it be changed because I have a hard time seeing the flower that it's suppose to be. |
Ben was so tired, he didn't make it through dinner. Quentin thought he'd just eat Ben's food, since he wasn't going to.
