| Q was very excited to see the Easter Bunny had came. |
| They wanted nothing to do with a pic, but at least gave me this. |
After Easter - we headed home for a little more play outside. Quentin is getting so good at riding his bike. He may be ready for no training wheels, but, I'm not. so I won't be pushing it any.
Other pics from the last couple days:
My banana Monsters: They both ate an entire banana. And, they were big banana's.
Kite Flying: The neighbor kids were out flying their kites, and Quentin really wanted to fly one too. One of the boys even offered Quentin to let him fly his kite, but Quentin only wanted his own. So, we dug one out that he'd gotten for Easter last year. Of course, once Jeremy got it all put together, he just wanted to watch Daddy fly it.
These 2.. I don't know what I'm going to do with them. They love feeding each other. Quentin finished eating his cookie and asked Cameron for a bite of his.. Cameron ended up feeding Quentin more than half of his.
Grandma Nancy bought the boys Crayola bath markers. They are a little tricky in that you have to press hard for them to work. But, they cleaned off the tub easy and the kids had fun drawing.
Last Wednesday, the new grocery store in town opened. It's not just a grocery store, it's a diner/cafe, butcher, bakery and pretty much everything else. It even has a drive thru, you can call ahead your order. Nancy took Q on opening day, and they had lunch. Friday morning, when I took Q to pre-school, he said he was going to ask Grandpa if they could eat lunch there. Well, it doesn't take much arm twisting for my dad to try a new place. So, of course, they went there for lunch.
The store is pretty nice and has everything one would need. Q and I did have to stop one morning and get applesauce for Cameron's Easter party at daycare. It was super convenient, as it's right across the street from daycare. Q was excited to get to use the little cart.
Update on the boys:
Cameron is 20 months old now, and pacifier free!!! He had been going without it at daycare, even for naps, so we decided to take it away for bedtime as well. The first night was hell. He cried for over an hour. He was so mad at me, if I went into his room, he'd throw himself down in the crib and try to run from me. He wanted nothing to do with me. Finally, Jeremy was able to rock him to sleep. Night 2, was a little better. He shaved a half hour off his crying time, and finally gave up and fell asleep on his own. Tonight was amazing!!. We read a book, rocked a little, and I put him in his crib awake. He just layed there, watched his mobile, and feel asleep within 10 minutes. No crying, no nothing. So, now the task is to find all pacifiers in the house and hide them. He always put them in weird places. So far, I found one in the freezer and one in the drawer in the bathroom, where bath toys are. I know there are probably 3 or 4 under his crib.
Cameron continues to LOVE food. He out eats Quentin most nights and sometimes will even eat what Quentin doesn't. If he were overweight, I might start to worry. He still only has about 6 teeth..the top and bottom front ones, and then about 2 or 3 on one side of his mouth. He has NO teeth on the other side. It's so weird! I did some research on it, and late teethers have no order to their teeth, like normal teethers do. So, I'm not too worried about it at this point. We take Q to the dentist in June, and will tag Cam along to have a quick look as well.
He talks non-stop at home and in the car. He doesn't say many words, but says lots of sentences. His favorite one is, "I want a bite," or "I want a nack (snack)" He also says "yeah" a lot and rarely says "no." For the longest time, I wasn't sure he knew "no," which was weird since thats usually one of the first words kids learn.
Quentin is too smart for his own good - It's hard to believe he'll be 4 in just over 2 months. He loves pre-school, and will go to pre-school at the elementary school here in town next fall. It will be interesting to see if he likes it as well. I'll miss his current teacher. I really like her, and she's so good with the kids. Plus, she takes lots of pictures and has a shutterfly site to share them with us.
Q loves to be outside. He's getting really good at making baskets and dribbling. And, he's really good at hitting a ball without using a T. He actually bats left handed, but does everything else right handed. And, he actually makes contact with the ball 75% of the time. Like his mommy, he likes the high ones. :) He's signed up for Tot t-ball and will start that in June.
His vocabulary continues to amaze us. He often tells Cameron that he can't understand him, and the other day, he tried to convince me that he needed to sit in Cameron's car seat because it was more comfortable.
Baby #3 is doing great. The HB was in the 140's at my last doctor appointment. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow, so will go to the doctor next week, and then start weekly appointments after that.
In other news - I'm sure most of you know, Dianna is also pregnant. I think she's 19 weeks? And had her anatomy ultrasound - she's pretty stoked and found out Tuesday that she's having a boy. It will be fun to have a little cousin for #3 so close in age.
