Q Plays T-ball.. and other things..

Quentin's T-ball started last week. Q is on the Kangaroo team and has games twice a week for  5 weeks.. Seems kind of intense to me, but each game is only 3 innings or 45 minutes.

It was so fun to watch him play. He did really well and even found time to play in the sand.

Cam had fun playing on the field before the game started.

Taking Ben for a ride,

Snack time for Cam!

Other things we did last week...

Jeremy gave Frodo a bath.. Frodo hated it, but loved running around and going crazy afterwards.

On Friday - Bondurant had an event at the fire station with all different kinds of trucks and tractors. Quentin LOVED it! They let the kids in the vehicles and they could honk, push buttons, do whatever they wanted.

With all this rain, our yard is taking a few baths.. There is a drain on the other side of the privacy fence, so it all drains there, and backs up into our yards when it gets backed up. Fortunately, it's still pretty far away from the house, and once the rain stops, it dries up pretty quickly.

Cam got his haircut. He's done really well the last couple times getting it cut. Hopefully it continues.

And, a couple more pictures. Cam loves Baby Ben, and wants to know where he's at all times. He comes home from daycare, and the first thing he says, is "Baby Ben." and he goes looking for him. It's pretty cute.

Happy 1 month, Ben!!

Ben turned 1 month old today. With all the rainfall, thunderstorms, flash flooding, and tornado watches we had today, I almost forgot to take his picture.

At 1 month old Ben hasn't smiled yet but I think it will be any day now. He holds his head up really well, and likes being on his stomach. He doesn't hate his back though either. He's a super easy baby, and only cries when he's hungry. He's sleeping really well at night. Last night he slept from 9-4.. so, hopefully that will continue.

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there, especially my husband! I couldn't ask for a better husband and father. And to my dad, he does more for us than I'll ever be able to thank him for.

Quentin actually wrote his name on the card this year. :) And, he didn't even need help spelling it.

We hung around he house the morning of Fathers day, and then headed to my parents for dinner. Quentin LOVES playing with his cousins.

A couple weekends ago, we met up with Serra, Jimmy and Nolan to make the Lowes craft.. which was toothless from How to Train your Dragon?

The sprinkler/pool have been out a few times already. Quentin and Cameron both love the water.

The other day we were playing in the pool in the front yard and a firetruck came down our street. They were doing some training, and apparently, our house was the one on fire. Pretty soon, another truck came and they were training on how to access all sides of the house on a cul-de-sac, and how to park the trucks to not completely block off the street. The firemen were super nice and let the kids play in and on the truck.

Q loves writing with chalk. He's getting really good at drawing pictures and writing his name. I can actually tell what he's drawing, which is amazing to me since half the things I draw I have to explain.

this is a motorcycle guy.

This is a bad guy. a happy bad guy. :)
We had Ben's 2 week appointment last Friday. He's doing great, and weighed in at 8 # 12oz(57%).. so, almost back to his birth weight. He was 20 3/4 long (62%) and his head was 14 (44%). Nothing real concerning. His umbilical cord fell off a couple days prior to his appointment, and his belly button was alittle bit of an outtie. :) Apparently, thats normal, and he has a little bit of a umbilical hernia. It should correct itself and be an innie eventually. :)

More pictures from the last couple weeks..

Both boys are a little obsessed with baby Ben. They are constantly wanting to hug and kiss him, or bring him something, a blanket or a binky. Quentin also likes to "share" his toys with him.

Thats all for now. We'll soon have a 4yr old and have a weeks worth of fun planned, so check back soon.
