We came home to this sign on the driveway. :) Thanks to our neighbor Whitney!
Within about 15 minutes of being home, Quentin and Cameron held Ben. Quentin was great, but was done after 2 minutes.
Then Cameron wanted a turn. He loves babies and loves to touch them. He was a little rougher with Ben and intentionally gouged his face within seconds of him being on his lap. He did later hold him, and was much better. We still have to keep a close eye on Cam when he's around Ben. I think there may be a little jealousy.
We're still sending Cameron to daycare - which is a huge help in itself. But, I don't want to mess up his schedule either.
We had Bens first doctor appointment on Tuesday, the 3rd - He's doing great and his weight was down to 8# 1 ounce. It was 8# 6 ounces when we left the hospital. Dr. Schutte wasn't worried at all, and we'll go back on Friday the 13th for his 2 week appointment. I'm anxious to see how much he's grown in this 2 weeks.
So, whats life with 3 like? We pick up Cameron from daycare around 4 everyday.. and thats when the crazyness starts. Both Quentin and Cameron want to play outside, Ben usually needs fed not long after 4, and dinner needs started. Usually Jeremy hangs out with the 2 outside, and I hang out inside and get dinner started and Ben fed. It's working out well for now.
Ben sleeps while we all eat supper, and then it's bath time. The other night, was our first chaotic experience with 3. Ben woke up after supper, was stinky. So Jeremy was in charge of him, while I got the other 2 boys ready for baths. I had just gotten them undressed when Jeremy called for help with the diaper change. The second I leave Q and Cam, It's on like Donkey Kong.. They are running through the house, jumping on beds and chasing each other naked. Meanwhile, Jeremy has Ben on the changing table, holding his legs up, trying to get him cleaned up, poop was EVERYWHERE, then Ben decided he wasn't done yet.. started pooping again, before Jeremy could get a diaper down, and then peed all over the wall and changing table. He's squirmy too, so it was hard to keep his legs up. We finally get Ben all cleaned up, changing pad in the washing machine and can finally get the other 2 baths done.
I'm sure situations like this will be nothing compared to what we have coming for us. :) And, much like this one, we'll just laugh when it's all said and done.
Now, for more pictures...

A new tradition was started by one of our neighbors last year, and that is an ice cream social at the end of every school year. Cam wasn't sure about the ice cream, but loved all the toppings. Quentin loved everything about it, didn't even want to take his helmet and sunglasses off to eat.

My cousin Serra and her boys stopped by yesterday. Quentin LOVED playing with Nolan and didn't want him to leave. Brody is already 2 months and seems huge since I last saw him a few weeks ago.
Whenever Ben is lounging on the floor, Q and Cam are immediately drawn to him. They can't leave him alone. Cam has gotten SO much better at being gentle with Ben. Still not trusting enough to turn your head for even 2 seconds. :) He loves to give him his pacifier and kisses.
