September -

September wasn't a very busy month. We started off with sending Cameron off to his first day of 3year preschool - There is a whole post dedicated to his first day, so go check it out.

That same day, Ben went to the doctor for his 15th month check up. Of course, he's doing great. He weighed in at 24.2 (70%), 32 inches tall (79%) and 18.25 head circumference (37%). His foot is healing, but still a little swollen and Ben flinches a little when you put socks and shoes on.

I built an obstacle course in the backyard.. the kids LOVED it and liked trying to beat each others time.

Jeremy decided it was time to bunk the beds. The boys were BEYOND excited. It did free up a big spot in the bedroom, which is nice.

Jeremy has been working a ton of overtime. So, we picked him up for lunch one Saturday and headed to the park to eat and play a bit before he went back to work.

The neighbors had their annual Iowa Vs Iowa State party.. Which is always a good time... Especially when the hawkeyes win! We had outside movie night afterwards.

The following morning, Ben and I headed to Iowa City for the 5K to Kinnick.. it was so cool. The race ended on the stadium where cheerleaders and herky were there for pictures. There wasn't a ton of people, which was nice too.

Cam took a field trip with his preschool class to Center Grove Orchard. It was fun to spend the days with him and his classmates. They rode the bus there, which was SO EXCITING for Cameron. Then we went on a hayrack ride, jumped on the big pillow, sampled some apples, did a few other things, ate lunch and played a bit more. Cameron loved all of it. He chose to ride the bus home, and of course, he fell asleep. Mrs Maggie said she felt so bad having to wake him up.

Jeremy and I went to Chippewa Falls, WI for a short getaway for our 10 year anniversary. There is a whole post on that as well, with lots more pictures. But, I loved the Leinenkugel Lounge with beer sampling and tour.

Jeremy got me a new camera for my birthday.. it's pretty awesome! I had to practice with it and take a few pictures.

Other pictures from September....

Cameron fell asleep while I was mowing.

Brian and Lena came over.. Lena wanted brownies.. Lena
gets brownies.

Ben likes to scream and stand in
his highchair.

Cam can sleep anywhere.

and he wanted some grapes... so brought the whole container
out to share.

Jeremy's garage organization is coming together.

Jeremy and I bought a new bed.. it's one of those that raise and lowers.. basically reclines. It's so comfortable. The kids LOVE playing with it though.

New bed selfie

Cam is back there "fixing" the mower

And last but not least.. Frodo - He's still a great dog, despite his constant shedding hair.
