Weekend Happenings

I think I forgot about last weekend, so I'll start with that one first.

So last Saturday Saran, Brian and Lena came over to play. Saran and I made snowflakes out of popsicle sticks, paint and glitter. (I haven't uploaded the pics I took of those, but will soon and add them) It was fun, but the kids kept wanting to help too. Saran actually got 1 done. It took 3 days to get mine done.
Q trying to help make popsicle stick snowflakes.

Ring around the Rosie
We tried to sit them together for a picture.. but as you can see it didn't work out so well.

Lena brought back the bumbo she no longer
needs. Q was never much of a fan of it..
until now.
On Sunday we only left the house to go to Costco.  We had dinner with Nancy, Fred and Penny at our house and Q entertained us a majority of the time.
He did manage to sit still long enough for Uncle Fred to read
him a book.
Q's new daycare has something different every day. Wednesday was hat day. We only have winter hats now that will fit him, so thats what he wore.

Now, onto this past weekend. We hung around the house most of Saturday, reading, playing and sleeping.

This is how we spend a lot of mornings.

And then it's time to get to work. Q has been quite the
little helper.. or at least he tries.
Sunday we hung around at home, and then headed to Uncle Frank and Aunt Sue's for Christmas 2011 part 1. We ate pizza, appetizers, and played Pimps (a card game). A special thanks to Jimmy and Uncle Frank for letting me win. I won over $7.

Q made this hat for Thanksgiving at his old daycare. He
wears it almost daily ...

and runs around making indian noises.

Q with cousin Jordan.

Gia, Q and Zoey. They all played so well together.
Today is Frodo's 5th birthday. Since we've got the yard fenced in now, he is loving life. We took him out and played with him Sunday late afternoon, and I don't think I've ever heard him snore so loud as he did last night.

He was, as the saying goes, Dog tired!
