May -

Happy May Day!!! We started off the month delivery 28 may day baskets and answering our door every few minutes. Cam wasn't getting the ringing the doorbell and running thing. Quentin on the other hand, was NOT going to get caught and kissed, EWWW! So he was very quick.

The city wide garage sales are always the first weekend in May. Quentin wanted to sell muffins this year. No profit was made.. He quickly took any money he made and went to spend it at other garage sales.

Happy Mothers day and Happy Birthday Dianna. Dianna and Eric got a camper awhile ago. They were camping this weekend, so we decided to take our birthday/mothers day dinner to her. Eric grilled on the fire, we played bags, played at the park and made smores. It was a lot of fun and the kids LOVED day camping.

On Sunday, Nancy came over to our house for dinner and cupcakes. We will never be able to repay Nancy for all she does for our family.

Happy Mothers day to me!! Jeremy got me an apple watch and the kids got me an awesome mothers day ring that I LOVE! It has their names engraved on it, and their birthstones. Jeremy also tilled a much larger garden and I was able to plant it.

On the 12th, Quentin had his kindergarten program. He was so excited to finally sing for us and not have to keep the songs a secret anymore.

Ben thinks he needs his picture taken
any time I'm taking a picture of
someone else.

Quentin had field days. I wasn't sure what to expect. When I had field days at school, it was competitive and you earned ribbons. There was no competition and the kids did a different activity at each station.

Cameron's last day of 3 year pre-school. :( I can't believe how fast the school year went. I remember Cameron crying on day one and me having a hard time leaving him. I asked him if he was sad about it being the last day, and he said no. He wasn't going to miss any of his teachers either. But a couple days after he was done for the year, he was asking when he gets to go back.

Quentin started T-ball - and he LOVES it. He plays games 2 days a week. I'll try not to bore you too much over the next month with all those pictures.

The kids had a great time at Emily's graduation party. It was fun to see all the relatives and the kids had fun playing with their cousins.

He only gets the empty cans.

Happy 2nd Birthday Benjamin Arthur!!!

I can't believe this kid is TWO years old! We hung around the house much of the day and played outside.  Of course the celebrations continued into next month.

not overly excited for blowing out the candle.

Hickory Park for birthday dinner the night
before
Happy Last day of Kindergarten, Quentin.. he was one of 2 students who had perfect attendance in his class. He was so proud of himself.

Other pictures from the month...

Ben likes to climb the window sill and watch
Jeremy mow - he knows he's not suppose to do it though

The neighbor guy had this towed to his house. He works on cars. Quentin thought it was pretty cool and wanted his picture with it.  It's a tiny car.

I think Quentin's favorite part of baseball is seeing his
classmates on the opposite team.

Ben loves cashews

First black eye for Quentin - He walked into
the path of the neighbor girl as she was
swinging a bat.

I made a new recipe - It's Chicken Bacon Ranch
Super easy.

Jeremy and I took in an I-Cubs game.

Ben willingly touched a toad

Lastly - our most recent family picture at this time.

Whew! One more month down - only a couple more to go to get caught up. My goal is for those to be done before school starts. Then hopefully I can get back to being every couple weeks or so again and bring back the Fun Foto Friday.
