Happy Easter!!

I promise to go back and post pics/stories from the last couple months.. but for now, we'll get current.

We had a great Easter weekend! We started it off with a quick egg hunt practice with some of the neighbor kids. Q and Cam loved it, and wanted more.

Ben and Daddy hung out inside since it was a little chilly. I couldn't believe Ben left the bunny ears on as long as he did.

Saturday morning, Q, Cam and I went to the Legion hall for Bondurant's Easter shindig. It consisted of visiting the Easter Bunny, some crafts, face painting, cookie decorating and of course an Easter egg hunt. Jeremy stayed back with Ben as he had just gone down for a nap.

They really do like each other sometimes.. Q was sharing
what he found with Cameron.
We hit up the park!!  Ben LOVED the swing. It's also Cameron's favorite, so getting him convinced that it was Ben's turn, wasn't easy.

Mom stopped by with some rice and food coloring. She'd seen somewhere, that if you mix a little plain white rice with food coloring and then shake the hard boiled eggs in it, it colors the eggs.. SO, we tried it. And, it worked. I was leery. but, they actually turned out pretty good. And, the mess was next to nothing. Nor did you get your hands too messy.

Saturday night, the Easter Bunny came to visit. Quentin wasn't sure what to think. We haven't put much emphasis on the Easter basket as much as what Easter is really about. So, I don't think he was expecting anything.  He eventually got excited after seeing all the stuff.

Quentin's basket consisted of a ninja turtle that does flips, flip flops, sidewalk chalk tattoo's, sidewalk chalk, gum, a bubble thing and a gun that shoots a foam ball.

Cameron's basket consisted of a broom/dust pan set, bubble thing, sidewalk chalk, flip flops, and some goofy glasses.

Ben's basket was pretty simple, and I realized half way through the day, that I had a ball for him.. and left it in the van. But, he had some new sippy cups, egg shaped sidewalk chalk, gerber cookie things, and some other snack like things.

Saying Cam LOVES his broom is
an understatement. He actually
fell asleep with it tonight.

We headed to Uncle Franks for Easter with the Morano Family.. it was a great time, and the weather was perfect. We did a little egg hunt for the kids, and they loved it. Cameron some how convinced Aunt Mary to hold his bag while he got the eggs. Ben tried cheesy potatoes and LOVED them.

Before the kids got too play outside when we got home, I had Jeremy set up the tripod for a quick family picture.. so, I'll leave you with that for now.

Maybe one of these days, Ben will pay attention the flashing light instead of Q and Cam saying "CHHHHEEEEESSSSSEEEEE!"
