I'm trying to get caught up..

Ben actually turned 4 months on Sept. 30th... and I forgot to add the pics.. so here they are. we had his Dr. appointment in mid Oct. More on that a little further down.

Williamsons pumpkin patch - There is a free pumpkin patch very close to our house. The first year we went, they didn't have much, but was still perfect for the ages of the boys, so we've continued to go each year. And each year, it gets bigger and bigger and it's still free. I always buy gourds, pumpkins etc there.

turned around, and just him and Q went. 

Bens 4 month appointment - We had Ben's 4 month appointment. He did great..until the shots. This was the first time Jeremy didn't come with me to any of the kids appointments. Of course, he's doing great, and weighed in at 16.11#(63%), 26.5 tall (87%) and his head was 16.5 (43%). All the nurses were in love with his hair, and how happy he was.

Living History Farms - For the first time, Q and I did the living history farms halloween event. We met up with Stella and Carrie, and the kids did great. It was a nice night and there weren't a ton of people there. They also don't hand out hardly any candy.. so that was nice.. I think Quentin walked away with 4 or 5 things..  and only one of them was a piece of chocolate. the others were stickers, bookmarks.. stuff like that.

very own pumpkin bowling next year. 

Uptown Ankeny - We headed to Uptown Ankeny for their halloween thing. We met up with Wynn and her boys, Brecken and Tate. They're similar ages to Q and Cam.. and they all get a long great. It's so funny watching them. The boys got SO much candy. I'm pretty sure half of it went in the trash, and the other half is still in a bucket somewhere.

Pumpkin Carving - Jeremy and I have a deal when it comes to carving pumpkins.. I clean, he cuts. And, since the boys dressed as super hero's, I thought it was only fitting to carve the pumpkins to match. I think he did a great job. He says the captain america was the toughest. I would have thought the spiderman one.

Earl May - We headed to Earl May's pumpkin fest. They had a few activities for the kids, and the Ankeny location actually has pony's you can ride. Neither Q or Cam wanted anything to do with them. Cam wasn't having much of anything that day.. so, him and Jeremy ended up sitting in the car with Ben, while I went with Q to do the stuff.

Pre-school fun night - We got to hang out in Quentin's pre-school room and look at all the work he's done thus far and see all the things he gets to play with everyday and let him just show us the kind of things he does. He loves pre-school and is sad when he doesn't get to go.

Lowes haunted bank making - We met up with Nolan and Stella at Lowes to build the haunted house. Stella was being a stinker and didn't want her picture taken. The haunted house is actually a bank as well.

Bondu-spooktacular - This was our first year going to the Bondu-Spooktacular here in town. We have a little lake or a very large pond, depending how you want to look at it.. and it's 3/4 of a mile around. They had activities all the way around. Ben did great hanging out in the stroller. My camera was dead.. and my phone was being dumb, so I didn't get very many pictures. :( But, the kids had fun.

Beggars night - Nancy is a trooper and comes to our house to hand out candy, while we go get more. Cam and wanted to be carried most of the time, which I did. And, he only got to go to houses with no stairs, and large porch area's, so you'd think that eliminate a lot of houses.. but, somehow he still ended up with a full bucket. Q of course, ran fast to each house. And the poor neighbor girl, got her joke stollen. I overheard Q telling her joke to one of the houses.. Both boys buckets were so full, neither could carry them. So, by the end of the night, Jeremy and I were taking turns with pushing a stroller, carrying Cameron and 2 full buckets of candy. Thankfully, after an hour, Q wanted to go home.

with a fever.. and when I checked it myself,
he screamed.. so I thought for sure he had
an ear infection.. but no, nothing.

we don't have far to drive, I'll let Cam sit

even helps buckle him in.

cracked. Jeremy watched a you tube video, and
10 minutes later, it was fixed. 

Cam loves brushing his teeth.. problem is, he also likes using
Quentin's toothbrush. ugh! 

It's a rare moment when Cam actually sits on your lap to
read a book. 

Q and Cam had pictures at daycare this month. 

They just can't get enough of their little brother. ;) 

Quentin wanted a snack.. and chose
broccoli.  Who's kid is this anyway? 

He got in trouble and was sent to time out.
When I went to check on him, he had fallen asleep..

Whew.. I think thats it for October. As you can see, we definitely got our money's worth out of the costumes, and had a lot of fun with all the fall activities.
