November 2016

Happy November..A lot of Basketball happened this month. Both Quentin and Cameron played at the Altoona Campus. They practiced on Friday nights and had games on Saturdays. It made the month go by really quick.

Don't mind that the ref is pointing for Cam to go the other direction. He eventually got it figured out, made it all the way down there, without dribbling, shot and scored!

Quentin blocked the ball and hit the girl.. she wasn't sad for very long though.

Muffins with Mom - Cameron's pre-school does a Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad since they aren't in school for Mothers day and Fathers day. So, Muffins with mom is in the fall and the Donuts with dad is in the spring.

I was suppose to make a bracelet for Cam, and he was suppose to make one for me.. He wanted to make his own and mine.. so thats just what he did. We both still have the bracelets, and he often brings me mine to wear. :)

Happy Wedding - My cousin Christina got married - no kids were allowed, but we still managed to have some fun.

Thanksgiving prep - Making meatballs, steak rolls and few stuffed peppers.

We took all the boys to see Trolls. It was a cute movie. The message is good. It was Ben's first movie. He did pretty well. We purposely planned it on a Tuesday night because admission is cheaper and we figured it would be less busy. It worked out well.

Happy Thanksgiving - I started off the day joining Carrie for a Turkey Trot run. We decided to make it a tradition. I'm already looking forward to next year. The weather wasn't too bad for it either.

We headed to my parents for Thanksgiving.

My attempt at a meat and cheese turkey tray

We played a new game - Watch yo mouth or something like that. It was funny, but my mouth was too small for the mouth piece, so it hurt my lips and gums. KaVon's mouth was too big, so it wasn't hard at all to guess what he was saying.

I did very little black Friday shopping. I did end up at Target at midnight because I needed ONE thing and that was Jeremy's size of our family pajama's. I had everyone else's, but his were just never in stock. I tried to order them online, but they were sold out and I finally checked just before going to bed, and it said there was a pair at the store.. so I quickly ran right there and got them.

The day after Thanksgiving we always put up the tree. This year, I also started giving the kids their Christmas pajama's. I realized last year that by giving them on Christmas Eve, they only get to enjoy them once during the Christmas season. So we gave them early this and it worked out really well. Ben wants to wear them EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT!!

And now for our family pajama's.. which also became our christmas card photo.

Other pictures from the month..

Cam snuck out of his room, and ended up
falling asleep at the bottom of the stairs
So, I can't remember if I posted a picture of Cameron earlier this year when he got this puppy dog costume. It came from a birthday party he went to. But it's one of his favorites.

We see lots of grain bins and tractors this time of year in our parts of town. The kids love it.

The brewery in town has flights.. you can choose 4 different beers/ciders to try.

Julian taught Quentin the water bottle flip game.

We had a mouse in the house. Jeremy was downstairs on his computer one night and said he thinks a mouse ran up his leg.. I didn't believe him because he didn't scream. He ran out the next day and got a mouse trap. I didn't believe him nor did I think the couple mouse traps he got would work. I mean, the basement is just so open, the mouse could easily go around the trap. Less than 24 hours later.. the mouse was caught.

Every couple weeks, I make Jeremy's breakfast burritos. Ben loves the mixture too.

Cam said he couldn't find
his shoes.. no idea why??

Thats all for November!!
