October!

October in a nutshell..

We visited Ledges State Park with some high school friends, along with their kids. It was our first time there, and we'll be back. The kids LOVED the hiking and leaf jumping/throwing.

The kids and I headed to Quentin's school playground for a bit one afternoon. I believe there is a post on this already, so you can check that out.

We had a really windy day, and it also happened to be the day a farmer was harvesting his field right behind the neighbors across the street from us.. So, we got all his corn shuck things all over our neighborhood.. Our fence was a nice trap for them. The kids loved jumping and playing in them.

Pumpkin Patch Fun - We love the pumpkin patch by our house. Not only is it free, but it's close, they have several things for the kids to do, and there's never a lot of people there, during the week anyway.  Cameron actually earned this trip because he didn't have any accidents for an entire week, which was a pretty big deal for him.

We headed to the princess and superhero 5k and kids run. The kids were going to do the kids fun run, but chickened out once we got there. Stella still did it though. :) It was pretty cold and windy.

The halloween dog parade was a huge hit with the kids. I was amazed at how many people and their dogs got dressed up. And, they handed out a ton of candy.

The kids wanted cupcakes, so we made cupcakes.

We carved pumpkins - and as usual, I cleaned them, Jeremy carved them. One of these days the kids will want to help clean them, right? They did tell Jeremy what they wanted their pumpkins to look like. Quentin wanted Dracula. Cameron wanted a one eye monster. Ben got freckles. :)

Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Aunt Emily(Emily's bday will come in November's post). Quentin was wolverine, Cam is Iron Man, and Ben is an owl.. because he "who's" a lot.

Towards the end, Ben willingly went and got
candy.

One house was grilling hotdogs.. Cam wanted one... I think
he eventually ate it, but Jeremy carried it much of the time.

Other pictures from October..

We were suppose to go to my parents for
Eric's birthday dinner, but mom wasn't feeling well,
So, dad delivered -Cavetelli and Sausage bread.

Don't worry, the gator was almost dead so it was moving at snails pace.

Quentin said this picture was for me. :)

Hanging out at the bus stop. Quentin likes
to be the first one there, so he can be first
in line.

A few videos...

Quentin was so excited he could read this. And is constantly pointing out site words.

Jeremy was able to get Ben to flap his wings.

Cameron can go SO fast on the scooter.

And last but not least, we had family pictures taken by Kim Mohler.. she did great.. especially since we were half hour late, and it was a week night and kids were tired.
