Happy Mothers Day!!

Last week and weekend were pretty uneventful. Just the way I like them. Friday night, Quentin and I met up with Saran and Lena for a fancy supper at Subway, and a little shopping at Costco. The kids loved hanging out and showing off.

Saturday morning, we were up bright and early. We meeting Nolan and Stella at Lowes for their build and grow program. Q loves them, as do I.

Q did a lot of the hammering himself.

TADA!! A flower truck!

That afternoon, we met up with Saran and Lena again for a our friend, Ty's graduation party. The party was a shelter near Saylorville, and once again, the kids had fun showing off and playing.

It had rained a bit on Saturday, but the sun was shining after naps. Q was begging to play outside, so that's what he did.. in the puddles of course. Cameron LOVED the puddle, and occasionally just sat down in it. He also tried to drink the water. Eww!

Quentin liked riding his bike through the puddle and it reminded me of the times we used did that when we were kids. We would get dad's longest socks, and pull them all the way up to our knees. There was a parking lot down the street from us, and we'd ride as fast as we could through the puddles. Dads socks would be black by the time we were done, and I'm sure he cringed when he saw them.. but, it was SO much fun!

Other fun pictures from the weekend - Happy Mothers Day to me! Jeremy came home Wednesday with this minivan. I'm going to miss my car, but this is a good replacement. We'll now be able to fit all of us in one car. :)

Imagine that, Cameron is eating!

The neighbor girl drew this for me, for mothers day. It's a heart
and next to the heart is me, with a pregnant belly. :)

The minivan has a dvd player in it, and Q
has watched The Incredibles too many times.

Cameron is doing better. A couple weeks ago, he woke up and wouldn't walk. His left leg would just kind of collapse and he'd fall. Jeremy took him to the doctor and after x-rays and trying to move it different ways, they decided, they didn't know what it was. So, we played the waiting game for a bit. By that night, he was walking and seemed to be fine. So, we thought maybe it was just growing pains. Every morning though, he would start off not walking, and would gradually limp along, and by the end of the day, it was almost like it didn't bother him anymore. Then, he spiked a 102.2 fever, which was concerning to me. So we called the dr, the next morning and they wanted to see him. This all started on a Friday morning. He got the fever on Sunday night, so Monday, Jeremy took him back in. Of course My mind was going crazy. I didn't want to google anything because I knew it would just say cancer, or some disease that I didn't want to read. Turns out, though, the infection was in his ear. His knee had gotten a little better by then as well. So, they decided he probably sprained his knee, and sent Jeremy home with an antibiotic for his ear. All is good now, and he's back to his feisty self. :)

Sunday morning, Q was so excited! It was finally Mothers Day. He ran into my room when he woke up, gave me a big hug and kiss and said, "happy mothers day mommy!" It was so cute - It was also followed by, "Can we et donuts?" And, how do you say no to that?

Sunday afternoon, we headed to my mom and dads house for Mothers Day supper and Diann'a birthday dinner.. Mom and dad made home made pasta, and it was delicious!

These are my mothers day cards, the boys made at daycare/preschool. They are always doing something fun. It's hard to decide which projects to keep.. Of course, these will be kept. Q also made me a necklace out of straws and a string.

Baby #3 update - I had a dr's appointment this afternoon. We're slowly progressing and things are looking good. We continue to get things done around the house, here and there, and I think baby just knows we aren't quite ready just yet, so he's being patient and holding off. And, his due date isn't for another 2.5 weeks anyway. :) We got plenty of time. :)
