Two Weeks Worth!

So the last couple weeks have been busy. Don't worry though, I've still been taking pictures, just hadn't uploaded them to put on the blog until tonight.

Last Saturday we got the pool out - Quentin loved it, although didn't love the little bugs that sprayed water.

Happy Memorial day - We headed to the zoo on Monday and met up with the Scott family. We watched the sea lion show and went on a train ride. The train ride was a bit disappointing as it wasn't very long, and didn't go around near enough of the zoo.

Quentin has voluntarily taken on some responsibilities. He now helps us water the plants, flowers and tree, and would like to do it hourly.

Q also likes to help with Frodo's food.
We spend a lot of time outside. Q recently has finally taken a liking to T-ball. He hits the ball, and Sammy fetches it. It works out pretty well.
Lefty??

Or Righty? The debate is still up in the air.
This past week was our last week with our house guests. We've had a ton of fun while they were here and it also helped us realize what it will be like with 2 little ones, which we are very much looking forward to.

We headed to Julians baseball game on Wednesday night. He played great and hit the first pitch that was thrown to him every time. Hopefully we'll make it to another game soon.

Grandpa took Q on a walk, and he
came back with a sucker, which he
very much liked.

We started this past weekend bright and early. Q and I were outside playing by 8. The neighbor girl, Morgan, joined us quickly. She loves playing with Quentin and we love that she likes to.

A couple laps around the cul-de-sac. Q is
pretty fast on the plasma car.

He likes the 4-wheeler too..
..although would rather let Morgan take hm
on a ride with her 4-wheeler.
While Jeremy helped Brian move some stuff, Q and I went to Subway for dinner. He loves the meatball  sandwich.

Today we dropped a few things off to Brian this morning. Q and Lena had fun chasing each other and trying to climb on things they knew they shouldn't be on.

This afternoon, Stella and Carrie came over for a play date. We finally set up the water/sand thing I bought awhile ago. Stella and Q LOVED it. They had fun splashing and playing with the water. It quickly ended as it suddenly started to pour.
Stella liked to spin the windmill thing the wrong direction,
spraying herself with water.

Q is getting a little fish out of Stella's mouth.

The rain won't keep Jeremy from having fun.
Once it started raining, we headed inside to get the kids in dry clothes (They had soaked themselves before the rain started).

of throwing the ball up the stairs

After bath - Jeremy combed Q's much needed haircut hair
into an 80's style.
Quentin turned 23 months old on Saturday and we can't believe his birthday is less than a month away. It's still amazing how fast they grow, and the the things they learn. He's been singing Happy TOOO (Happy Birthday to You) a lot lately and it's pretty entertaining. He's also discovered the word wow, and loves to overuse it. The "why" questions have also started. Thankfully, he's content with whatever answer you give him, although I'm sure that will change.

So, thats the last couple weeks of our lives in a nutshell. We'll be staying close to home this coming weekend, and hoping the weather will be a bit nicer to get the pool out again
