We're going to KC.. KC here we come!!

We headed to KC this past weekend for some birthday and Easter Egg hunt action. We had a ton of fun and can't wait to go back again soon.

After a lot of play time in the back yard, we headed in for bath and bed time.

Q trying to throw the ball up on the roof like D does.

Q loved the slide.

Mark trying to get the ball unstuck. Maybe the ISU shirt is
weighing him down.

Q wasn't real sure about the baseball, but I think after a
few more tries, he would have liked it.
Dylan introduced Q to color bath tablets. They were
pretty awesome.
After the kiddos were in bed, it was time to make Cake Pops for D's birthday party. I've always wanted to make these, so it was great to be able to help.

Saturday morning we headed to Chad and Vicky's to do an Easter Egg Hunt at their church. The amount of people there was a little insane, but each kid walked away with 10 eggs (the limit).

Where's Charlie?

Q is so sweet. He was putting eggs in other kids baskets.

Olive is such a doll and Charlie is such a good big brother.

Q was not a fan of he fire truck. Charlie was such a good
sport for letting Q get in the truck with him.

Saturday afternoon we headed to Herb and Vera's house for Dylan's birthday dinner - Spaghetti and meatballs. The food and company were great. Once again, Q loved the slide and can even go up the ladder by himself.

Quentin devoured his cupcake. I'll have to post a pic of that once Bobbie sends it to me.

Sunday - Happy Birthday Party Day Dylan!! Dylan's birthday party was held at Deanna Rose Farmstead. It was the perfect location and perfect weather. Not only did we get to finally eat the cake pops, but we got to feed the fish, and see all kinds of other animals.

D watching Dora - Q watching D. If Dylan jumped, Q followed.

Q watching the baby goats.

Andrea caught the smallest fish, but the more impressive
part - she didn't even lose her bait.

No idea what Q was so serious about.

Q loved watching the fish
We headed back home after the party. It was perfect timing for Q's nap.

We didn't even make it out of the parking lot before Q was out

We came home to a sea of such pretty yellow flowers.

In other news - We've reached the half way mark. Only 20 more weeks to go. We had an ultrasound on Monday. Baby #2 is measuring 5 days ahead and weighs 12 ounces.  The ultrasound tech was able to see what the gender was. So, Jeremy has it sealed away in an envelope, ready to be dropped off to the baker this week. I have no idea if it will be a girl or a boy, but can't wait to find out on Saturday.
