Happy 13 Months Q-dawg!!

The last few days have been crazy. Quentin somehow acquired hand, foot and mouth disease (I'm guessing from daycare) along with an ear ache and a fever. Needless to say, he's been quite the cranky pants lately. We weren't lucky enough to get the hand, foot and mouth disease on his hands or feet, instead he has little sores on the back of his throat, so eating has been a challenge, consisting of mainly animal crackers. We've tried lots of other things, but he'd rather throw them for Frodo to eat instead. After spending the last couple days at home, he's doing MUCH better tonight, but I'm not sure if he's well enough to try daycare just yet.

Hi mommy. Even when he doesn't feel well, he still manages
to smile and make us smile. 

So now onto the fun things Q is doing these days. His vocabulary is expanding. He now says "tinky" for stinky when we're changing his diaper. He also says duck, woof, doggie and said cow and moo for the first time yesterday morning.

Q is very into climbing on EVERYTHING!! Who cares about walking when you can do the spider crawl and climb?

Are we horrible parents for taking this picture before
helping him get down?

neath it, and when i turned around, he was
sitting in, playing with dish rags. 

He will sit and climb on anything

At 13 months Quentin continues to LOVE bath time and
will even go in and bang on the tub when he wants to
take a bath. 

He loves having water dumped on his head. 

Quentin LOVES going on walks, especially if we goto
Hawkeye Park where there is a plethora of ducks

He can't get enough of books. He loves them. He loves the
pictures, he loves having them read to him, he loves flipping
the pages.. there isn't anything he doesn't like about books.
